Scholarships

The Fairfield County Foundation holds over 130 scholarship funds for the benefit of area students. Over 100 of these funds are administered using the Foundations online system and the majority can be applied to by using the universal application. Since 2010, we have provided 4,786 scholarship opportunities and awarded more than $8.7 million in scholarship funds!

The link to apply and detailed information on applying can be found on our FAQ page. The Fairfield County Foundation scholarship online application for the 2025-2026 school year opens on December 1st, 2024.

Please visit the applications tab to review our five scholarships that require paper applications. These scholarships are not included in the online application and must be applied for separately. Each application includes individual instructions and deadlines to apply. Included are the Edward N. Sands Scholarship, Shelly Strigle Memorial Scholarship, Donald I. Rodenbaugh Engineering Scholarship, Trever & Violet Jones Memorial Scholarship, and Andrew “Drew” Townsend-Engle Memorial Scholarship.

All application submissions are final as of the deadline with no exceptions. Late submissions or edits will not be accepted for any portion of the online application. Scholarship awards will start in April and possibly continue through June. Not all scholarship awards are released at one time. Please check the email used for the applicant log on as well as the portal to see results.
